These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of alphasapienlabs.dev (the "Website") and any product you buy from Alpha Sapien Labs, a business owned and operated by Debabrata Saha ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Website or buying a product, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

Alpha Sapien Labs is an independent studio based in Kolkata, India, owned by Debabrata Saha. We create and sell digital learning products, such as interactive online books and courses, for example React Simplified.

2. Products

• All our products are digital and are accessed online in your web browser. Nothing is shipped physically.
• Each product page describes what is included. We try to keep descriptions accurate, but small differences in content or formatting may occur as we improve a product.
• Free previews, such as a free chapter, are provided as-is to help you decide before buying.

3. Prices and payment

• Prices are shown in Indian Rupees (₹) and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• Payments are processed securely by our payment partner, Razorpay. We do not see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
• We may change prices at any time. A price change does not affect orders that are already paid.

4. Licence to use

When you buy a product, you get a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use it for your own learning. You may not:

• share, resell, upload, distribute or publicly post the product or any part of it;
• share your account or access with others;
• remove copyright or ownership notices.

All content, code examples, text and designs remain the intellectual property of Alpha Sapien Labs. We may revoke access if these Terms are breached.

5. Delivery

Access is provided instantly after payment, as described in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.

6. Refunds

All sales are final. Refunds are not offered except in the limited cases listed in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

7. No guarantee of results

Our products are for educational purposes. We do not guarantee any job offer, interview result, certification or specific outcome from using them.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alpha Sapien Labs is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of the Website or our products. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kolkata, West Bengal.
